At Mae Mental Wellness, co-founder Carol Milliken’s goal is to work collaboratively with her patients to develop a treatment plan that will result in improved mental wellness. She is a highly skilled and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with diverse expertise. Carol is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and is board certified in psychiatric mental health advanced practice nursing, family trauma therapy, emergency, and critical care nursing. She is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt who stands at the forefront of advanced nursing practice and quality improvement in mental health care.
Carol specializes in providing compassionate and evidence-based care to those facing mental health challenges. In addition, she is a compassionate advocate for mental health and a catalyst for positive change in healthcare delivery. Her multifaceted skills, continuous pursuit of knowledge, and dedication to patient well-being guides her as a leader in healthcare.
